- If added to the seed, stir the 1 or 2 drops in and mix, then layer the fortified seed on top of the bird's feed dish.
- Make sure that the vitaminized seed has been consumed within 24 hours.
- If the bird doesn't eat the fortified seed, feed the usual plain seed diet for 3 days and try again.
- Birds are creatures of habit, and they may not accept the new seed mixture immediately.
