For drinking water,
- 1 drop per 30 ml of water.
- The preferred method of using this medicine is to add the concentrated liquid solution to the bird’s daily drinking water. If possible, use a sanitary water bottle instead of an open water dish, which can be easily spoiled with debris.
- However, birds fed with high-moisture foods like fresh fruits and vegetables may have a chance of consuming a minimum amount of drinking water. In such a case, the vitamins may be applied directly to their food.
For Food:
- Randomly scatter 1 to 3 drops of the conc.liquid directly on the surface of the food every 1–3 days.
- If added to the seed, stir the 1 or 2 drops in and mix, then layer the fortified seed on top of the bird’s feed dish.
- Make sure that the vitaminized seed has been consumed within 24 hours.
- If the bird doesn’t eat the fortified seed, feed the usual plain seed diet for 3 days and try again.
- Birds are creatures of habit, and they may not accept the new seed mixture immediately.
